Test Systems
Introduction
We make a number of systems available for your development and testing. This section describes those available and the purposes of each one. We make new systems available from time to time, and we will be introducing new test platforms as and when necessary.
Test 1
This is usually the first platform you'll come across. It is guaranteed to be running the same version of applications as we have in the live environments. During an upgrade, this system will be upgraded within 48 hours of live (either before or after).
When an account is created in this system, it is automatically given some test configuration, allowing you to immediately test allocation. The account you get provided will have administrator rights, allowing you to add and remove users, as well as change carrier configuration.
This system is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Scheduled downtime is announced on the banner, as well as on this site.
Test 2
This is our beta-platform, exposing the next version of DM. For code releases (other than simple patches), we deploy the applications here for at least one month before moving them to live environments.
